Antonija Pacek

Biography

After graduating with multiple honours in Psychology in Vienna, Antonija earned a master’s degree in Psychology from the University of Cambridge.

She started her career in 1997 as a consultant at Hewitt Associates in Vienna. She was a member of the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) People Value division. In her consulting capacity she worked daily with multinational corporations providing advice and workshops on the following key "soft skills" topics: leadership skills, motivation, managing change, performance management, interpersonal communications, conflict management and emotional intelligence in business.

Between 2004 and 2011 she was a Vienna-based representative for the Centre for Creative Leadership focusing on leadership projects for clients who had responsibility for EMEA markets.

Since 2011 she has been working in a family business with her husband (Global Success Advisors and CEEMEA Business Group that currently advise over 500 multinationals), training a series of leadership programs focusing on creativity, innovation and soft skills. In this capacity, she co-created an assessment tool Imagino®, a globally unique tool that measures creativity and innovation at individual and organizational levels. The tool helps identify creativity and innovation strengths and gaps within organizations, and then Antonija provides comprehensive, tailored training sessions on how companies can boost their creativity and innovation.

During creativity/innovation sessions with clients, Antonija sometimes plays her self-composed, contemporary piano music to demonstrate how participants can better tap into their own creativity and divergent thinking. She released three albums of neoclassical piano music, titled Soul Colours, Life Stories, and IL MARE, one of which was signed with Warner Chappell, the publishing arm of Warner Music. As a neoclassical composer and performer, she was touring Italy in the spring of 2018. In 2019 she will play concerts in Italy, Croatia, Austria and the Emirates.

Since 1997 Antonija has also been an adjunct University Professor teaching various courses at three private Universities in Austria. She has taught Industrial Psychology, Social Psychology, Personality Theories, History and Systems of Psychology, Emotional Intelligence, Psychology and Film, Personal Development, Leadership Development, Learning Strategies. On several occasions she was invited to co-lecture with the legendary Dr. Phil Zimbardo during his guest lectures in Vienna. They were co-teaching the course on Exploring Human Nature.

Since March 2018 she started lecturing for Duke Corporate Education, the world’s number one ranked provider of corporate education.

In her free time she enjoys composing piano music, painting and swimming.
